You Font

You font uses Didot — the high-contrast French neoclassical serif designed in the late eighteenth century by Firmin Didot, later digitised and refined into the contemporary typeface bearing his name — and the choice for Netflix’s 2018 psychological thriller series about a charming, intelligent, and thoroughly dangerous stalker is a typographic act of seduction: Didot is the typeface of fashion magazines, literary fiction, and expensive perfume advertising, its hairline strokes and sharp serifs communicating taste, sophistication, and the kind of refinement associated with people who read first editions and make good conversation at dinner. The freely available You Font channels this dangerously elegant high-contrast serif register.
